Retoyman in the pages of The Stndrd Magazine, Death Of An Icon, Bill Cosby essay by Adam C. Better.

by Retoyman

Retoyman in the pages of thestndrd magazine. I made this image before the article was finished. When my editor wrote me about this piece I remember writing him that I wanted to make a very handsome portrait of Cosby with Fat Albert T-shirt and then destroy it by writing over it, like someone would do to a image they no longer want to remember.  It seems that the author of this essay, Adam C. Better feels the same way I do about Cosby and perhaps sums up a generation raised on Cosby- not just the The Cosby Show, but Mission Impossible, Uptown Saturday Night, Fat Albert, Jello Pudding, and even Little Chris are all destroyed by the man we loved.
